Specialties

I have worked with the forensic population or within the criminal justice field for 10 years. During that time, I have worked in most stages from entry into the criminal justice system, participation within the various stages of the system, through to release into the community. I have worked with a variety of offenders from youthful offenders, to gang-affiliated offenders, from those charged with petty theft, to sex offenses & murder, and everything in-between.

I specialize in working with criminal offenders in all stages: police contact and arrest, actively sentenced in court, serving probation and parole, incarcerated inmates, and conditional release, work release, or halfway house restricted release status.

I have experience as a a case manager for conditional release offenders at a non-profit agency where I evaluated their needs by administering several clinical assessments, scoring them, and deriving a treatment plan with the use of community resources to achieve successful reentry.

I specialize in handling emergency situations and crisis situations. I have experience triaging 911 emergency calls as a Public Safety dispatcher for a local police department.

I have experience providing therapy to incarcerated inmates at CT DOC. I have experience responding to crisis calls to provide therapeutic intervention, maintaining a caseload of 40+ inmates, & providing follow-up coverage for the entire inmate population.
